Sacred Heart Asm. #2599

In 1999 a SK by the name of Phillip Tetreault had a vision to start an Assembly in the Shelby Township area. He knew that he had a long journey ahead of him, but he persisted and Sacred Heart Assembly was formed in October of 1999. He started with 42 SK’s and the By-Laws were adopted on January 26, 2000.
Through his persistence Sacred Heart began to grow. Our Assembly has now reached 156 SK’s and continues to grow. Unfortunately S.K. Phil is not here to see that his passion has become one the finest Assemblies in the Hennepin Province which covers Michigan and Ohio. SK Phil was taken from us and is now with Our Lord and I know he is watching down on us.

Sacred Heart has a Color Corps of 35 members and the Drill Team is the Champion Drill Team in the state of Michigan, 7 years running. We are very proud of our Assembly and we owe it all to S.K. Phillip Tetreault. Phil installed his love of God, Family and the Knights of Columbus in all of us and we are proud to say that we are from Sacred Heart Assembly #2599.

Sacred Heart is very active in K of C, civic and veteran programs and has won many awards such as Civic, Red, White & Blue, and Diamond awards from Supreme. The Assembly Newsletter has just won the best newsletter of Hennepin Province District #1 for the second straight year and we also have the SK of the District for the second year in a row.
